The Retreat - Where Mind and Body meet

Are you ready for a unique experience where you change your mind and body at the same time?

Maybe you have been working for years on improving yourself, or maybe you've just started recently. Either way, you know that it is time to change. Wouldn't it be nice to be fully supported, mind and body, while you change yourself?

Arriving on the evening of the 7th June, 2019, you will settle into a luxury 4 bedroom property situated on a family farm in the heart of Angus. On Saturday the 8th, you will work with Dawn Walton and Amy Hanlon to understand who you are and where your issues come from. Exploring the science of body and mind, you will build a picture of the person you can become.

On Sunday the 8th of June you will bring everything you have learnt together with a clear action plan, so when you leave at lunch time, not only will your transformation be well on its way, but you will also feel fully supported to continue that change when you are back in your own environment.

This is not the sort of retreat where you spend two days out of your natural environment experiencing huge change, and then return home to find the changes just fade away.

I will work on the mental barriers that hold you back, while Amy will work, in parallel, on the way those mental barriers translate into physical problems. 

You are used to working on your body.

Dawn Walton  - Therapist, Author and Public speaker

I have a Masters in Psychology and trained as a Cognitive Hypnotherapist at the Quest Institute. I do not use a single approach. I am mainly a problem solver. I deal with what you tell me, and guide you to make the changes necessary so you are free to be whoever you want to be. I don't believe we can think our way past our problems. The cognitive, thinking part of your brain is only engaged for at most 10% of the time. So I work with the automatic and reactionary part - the subconscious. That's why you need me. I guide you to change you.

Sunday
9:30-11:00 Review of activities and tasks for after the retreat
11:00 depart.

The Venue


Sma' Hame Muirfield House is a luxury 4 bedroom property situated on a family farm in the heart of Angus, Scotland. The house has spectacular views of the rural countryside, a large kitchen/dining area which can seat up to 20 people, a lounge with open fire, front and rear garden with plenty of parking and a large hot tub for relaxation. https://www.smahame.com/ 

 The venue has wifi and good mobile coverage. There are no issues with you remaining connected during the retreat if you wish to do so.
