I know how scary it is coming to see a therapist. Whether it's your first time or even if you've seen someone before, it's a tough decision to take that step and, for a moment, feel vulnerable.
I have been there. Writing an email saying I would like some help was possibly one of the hardest things I've ever done. I flew down to London for my first session with Trevor and I was sick with nerves.
No matter how good your therapist is, there is every chance you will still feel this way. Your subconcious is anticipating the worst case scenario and doing everything it can to protect you.
It's calmer on the other side. Once we've met. Once we've worked together.
Once I've helped a client, they just get on with their lives and don't need my help any more. That is my goal. To get you to the other side where your life is your own to do with whatever you would most like.

I have always been a yo-yo dieter, but I know this is seriously unhealthy and I want a 'normal' relationship with food. I listened to it for the first time and I have to say the experience was bizarre. The pain however was lifted. At this point I had stopped my pain meds so I was expecting an increase in pain. When the pain was getting worse I would listen to it again and the pain would lift. As time went on the strangest thing happened, I could no longer visualise the "pain". This freaked me out, so I contacted Dawn just to make sure. She reassured me that this was a good thing, not being able to "see" the pain was what was stopping me from experiencing the pain.
It has now been about 6 weeks since I have came off my medication. I have to say that I am glad I have done this. Cognitive Hypnotherapy would never have been something that I would have chosen so I have to be thankful to Dawn for offering me her help. For anyone reading this I don't think I could recommend this highly enough
